Great team effort for Barrow Sea Cadets as they get through to national competition finals

The National Sea Cadet Regatta is held every year at the Excel Centre in London, on the Royal Albert Dock.
Rowing, Kayaking, Polo, Yowling, Powerboat Handling and Sailboat Handling trophies are competed for and the fantastic Barrow Sea Cadets fought their way to positions of third for the Open Boys Rowing Team , second for the 2000m Doubles Kayaking and fifth position for Single Sprints
Jay Zaccarini, Barrow Sea Cadet Petty Officer said: “We have brought teams to the nationals every year for the last ten to fifteen years. The standard at nationals is very high and it’s an amazing achievement for the Cadets to even get to this stage”
