Helen Jackson, Practice Manager at Alexander Veterinary Centre said “We are holding an open day today from 3pm until 5pm for anybody wishing to have a tour around the surgery and meet our team and view the facilities. Children are welcome too, as Little Beasties will be bringing a selection of their animals for us to meet. Alexander Veterinary Centre was established in 1982 by John Stitt, when he retired in 2015 we decided to join Independent Vetcare. We have recently undergone a full practice refurbishment to create an extra consultation room and modernise all facilities.
“As well as improving the overall feeling of the practice we have included an additional consultation room so we can increase our wonderful nurse consultations, we have also created a separate cat and dog ward, complete with air conditioning to improve the comfort of your pets stay. We will be continuing to offer our Pet Health Club which not only helps you save on your preventative health care but also offers many other great discounts.
“We also offer laser therapy at the surgery which is a painless non - invasive therapy that can be used on many inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, skin disease, swellings and infections to name but a few.
