It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Ellie's Garden Centre in Ulverston
With December fast approaching it’s time to start thinking about getting ready for Christmas, and it looks like Ellie’s Garden Centre, Ulverston have been busy making their festive plans.
Beth Varley from Ellie’s told us: “We have a fabulous selection of small potted Christmas trees and decorative lights of all sizes which are suitable for indoor and outdoor use plus we have some stunning tree decorations.
Our normal fresh trees are £5.50 a foot and anyone quoting “HuddleHub” you will get a 10% discount off our fresh trees and there is free delivery throughout most of the Furness area including Ulverston, Dalton, and Barrow, with the last date for delivery being on 23rd of December.
“Christmas wreaths are made to order, although we do have a selection of designs ready to collect from Ellie’s Designer Florist’s which is based within the garden centre. We sell flower bouquets, handtieds and table decorations for Christmas. We are also selling pot wreaths and shovels, plus much more.

“We are having a stall at the Dickensian Festival this weekend on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24 November where you can order a tree and receive 10% discount plus free delivery. Why not pop along and see us whilst browsing the amazing variety of stalls at this brilliant event.
“Father Christmas is visiting Ellie’s garden Centre on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th and Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd December, where there is free Mulled wine and presents, and
‘Smokey’s Shack’ is situated in the grounds of the garden centre and is open for festive food and drinks. We have lot’s going on this year and we are very excited. We invite you to come and join us and have a glass of mulled wine whilst choosing your Christmas tree.
“There are a few places left on our wreath making classes if you are feeling creative and would like to make your own, and our Pop Up café opens on 12th December for one day only, offering free tea, coffee and cake. Come along and see our beautiful decorations, they’re guaranteed to get you in the festive mood”
Opening times during November are Monday-Saturday 9am-4pm, Sunday 10am-4pm and during December they will be open Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 10am-4pm with late night opening until 7pm every Thursday.
