John Murphy supports "excellent" new Walney hub with time and money
John Murphy has very kindly offered his time and money to help with the Round House transformation.
From sanding to painting and knowledgeable talks, John has helped in so many ways and now he has donated £100 to help towards the transformation of the Round House into a new community hub and cafe.
John said: "I've lived on Walney all my life and I think what you are doing is amazing, it's excellent to see the building coming back to life and being used for a superb purpose, the future is going to be great."
Matt Blackburn, Operations Manager of ZEST said: "Thank you so much to John for his amazing support and to everyone else who has supported us over the past 3 weeks. The transformation is going really well, with thanks to kind people giving up their time volunteering and donating much needed funds.
"We still need more donations to help buy a disabled toilet alarm, baby changing unit amongst many other things, so if you can spare a few pounds please click the below gofundme link... https://www.gofundme.com/f/round-house-improvements".
