Phil Collier Associates celebrates 5 years of delivering success with new exciting rebrand
In July 2014, Phil Collier sold his company, TurnstoneHR, through a management buy-out deal to ‘go it alone’, setting up Phil Collier Associates. Rather than focussing solely on HR, Phil decided to pull together various aspects of his background in the corporate sector and setting up and growing his own business, to provide a broader business offering to clients.
Five years down the line, Phil Collier Associates has decided to re-launch under a new brand ID, to be more specific in terms of its potential services to clients.
Phil said: “When I left TurnstoneHR behind, I had an idea of the services that I wanted to offer to clients. However, over the past five years, this has broadened more than I could have imagined. I felt that my logo and strap-line, “Business support services”, was not only too general, but it didn’t really tell business owners or executives what I was able to do to help them.
“From focussing mainly on providing advice and support on business growth and strategy, I am now managing Quality Management Systems for clients as we’ll as moving back to providing HR and people management support for my clients. In addition to this, I manage a variety of projects for clients, enabling them to concentrate on managing their businesses and provide board-level support for a number of clients.”
So, rather than the rather bland “Business support services” Phil Collier Associates now operates with the strap-line “Delivering results together” and focuses on the various specific areas referred to above. Working with a team of expert consultants, Phil now feels that he is well placed to grow further, another reason for the re-brand and the more contemporary logo, courtesy of Dillon Lawrence.
Phil added: “The past five years have been really exciting for me and I just love the broad range of businesses that I work with across a broad brush of sectors, from food production and tourism, through to manufacturing and the financial sector, as well as retaining clients within the marine sector. It is the sheer variety that gets me out of bed in a morning and I am so lucky to be working with some fabulous business people.”
Phil Collier Associates is now adding a further arm to its portfolio of services, one that links back to Phil’s background in people management. As Phil continued: “Corporate Team Building is something that I grew up organising many moons ago and is something that I have wanted to do for some time. So, it seemed a natural progression from the more general people management support that I offer. We ran our first session at the end of June, with fabulous feedback from our client. We will be promoting these sessions over the coming weeks… so watch this space!”.
