Police urge people to beware of suspected phone scam

Police are urging people to beware of a suspected phone scam.

Officers had several reports on Tuesday (Apr 23) of a call that is answered by an automated message pretending to be from BT.

It states services will be terminated unless number one is pressed.

This is believed to be a scam and the advice from police is to hang up.
