Sweet taste of success for Walney schoolgirls

Two Walney schoolgirls have got their heads together and launched a fabulous new tasty business.
The business idea was thought up a few months ago, during the COVID-19 lockdown, when the friends kept in touch and decided to have a go at setting up a small business. Their long term plan is to expand to suit the demand, and with ideas and excitement mounting the young girls designed a fun logo along with a catchy name as they planned the launch of “Bee Sweet”, a pre-packed pick and mix sweetie cup.
Eleven year olds, Esme Walker and Isla Nicholson are best friends, and are really excited to display their sweets at the Round House Hub & Cafe where they take pride of place in the ice cream and waffle parlour.
The girls offer an online service for local deliveries including parties and events, offering a selection of mixed gummies, cola bottles, chocolate, marshmallow, sherbert flying saucers all topped off with a lolly pop there is something to suit every sweet tooth.
